The penny candy counter
It is not actually a penny anymore. It is by the quarter-pound, in a paper bag, weighed on a scale older than the shop. Twelve kinds of saltwater taffy, none of them sorted.

Thirty years of retail, one very full room
Margo Teixeira spent three decades buying for other people's stores before she got tired of being told what she couldn't stock. In 2014 she took the ground floor of the old Tanner Row mill, painted the door herself, and started filling shelves.
There is no buying committee. If Margo likes it and it isn't made badly, it goes on the shelf. That's the entire merchandising strategy, and it's why the inventory makes no sense and everyone finds something.

Getting here
Free lot behind the building, off Walnut. Street parking on Tanner Row is two hours, and they do check.
Commuter rail to South Acton, then about ten minutes by car.
