Who I am

This website is run by Aziz Riaz, a web designer based in Lincoln, MA ("I", "me", "my"). If you have any questions about this policy or your data, contact me at azizkariaz@gmail.com.

What I collect

I only collect what I need to respond to you and run this site:

  • Contact form details — your name, business name (optional), email address, the type of enquiry, and the message you send.
  • Basic analytics — if analytics is enabled, anonymised usage data (pages visited, approximate region, device type) via Google Analytics 4. This is not used to personally identify you.
  • Technical logs — my hosting provider may automatically log standard request data (such as IP address and browser type) for security and reliability.

I do not knowingly collect sensitive personal data, and I don't ask for more than the above.

How I use it

  • To reply to your enquiry and provide a quote.
  • To deliver and support websites for clients I work with.
  • To understand, in aggregate, how this site is used so I can improve it.

I will never sell your personal information.

Who I share it with

I use a small number of trusted service providers who process data on my behalf:

  • Hosting & form handling — [Hosting provider, e.g. Netlify] hosts this site and processes contact-form submissions.
  • Analytics — [Google Analytics], if enabled.

These providers only process your data to provide their service, and I share only what's necessary.

Cookies

This site uses only essential functionality (such as remembering your light/dark theme preference, stored locally in your browser). If analytics is enabled, it may set its own cookies — you can block cookies in your browser settings at any time.

How long I keep it

I keep contact enquiries for as long as needed to respond and, where relevant, for my business records. You can ask me to delete your enquiry at any time.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • Ask what personal data I hold about you.
  • Ask me to correct or delete it.
  • Object to or restrict how I use it.

Security

This site is served over HTTPS, and I take reasonable measures to protect your information. No method of transmission over the internet is ever 100% secure, but I work to keep your data safe.

Children

This site and my services are intended for businesses and adults, not children.

I may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date above will always reflect the current version.
